EffectiveFebruary 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Lloyd Galbraith ("we", "us", "the studio") collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to lloydgalbraith.com.

We collect the minimum amount of information needed to respond to inquiries and operate the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. When you submit the form on our Contact page, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • An optional subject line
  • An optional budget range
  • Your message

This information is stored in our private database and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Technical data. Like any website, our hosting platform automatically logs basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operational purposes. This data is not used to build advertising profiles and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral trackers, or session-replay tools.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry by email
  • Maintain a record of past correspondence
  • Improve the site's content and structure
  • Protect against spam and abuse

We do not share your information with anyone outside the studio unless required by law.

Third-party services we rely on

To deliver the site, we use the following service providers. Each receives only the data necessary for its function:

  • MongoDB — stores contact form submissions and site content
  • Cloudinary — serves images and media
  • Resend — delivers transactional email notifications about new inquiries
  • Emergent — hosts the website

These providers have their own privacy commitments and are contractually limited to using your data only to provide their service to us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of any future communications

To exercise any of these rights, email studio@lloydgalbraith.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA)

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents (GDPR)

Visitors from the European Union and United Kingdom have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. The lawful basis for our processing is your consent (when you submit the contact form) and our legitimate interest in operating the site.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained until they are no longer relevant to studio operations — typically up to 24 months — after which they are deleted from our database.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
